How Storm Emeralda’s paired Stadium cards work
Paired Stadiums are Storm Emeralda’s main mechanical change. Each Stadium is split across a left and right card. You need both halves in hand and play them together as one Stadium; drawing only one half does nothing on its own. Japanese deck rules allow four halves total, and a registered deck list has to match the physical split.
- Storm Emeralda contains three pairs at numbers 071–076.
- PokéBeach provisionally calls them Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit, and Legendary Lava Lake.
- Under that translation, Legendary Summit reduces the Prizes taken when attack damage Knocks Out a Colorless Pokémon.
- The other pairs interact with healing or Abilities.
