Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Release Dates, Product List & MSRP

Launch day brings two ETBs and several smaller promo products, but no traditional booster display. Pokémon confirms the names, contents, and dates; the price figures below come from dated US product coverage because the official showcase has no US price table.

The standard ETB includes nine 30th Celebration packs, one full-art Nidorina promo, 65 sleeves, 16 foil Basic Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, a plastic coin, a player’s guide, and a storage box with six dividers. The Pokémon Center ETB raises the pack count to 11 and adds a second Nidorina promo with the Pokémon Center logo while keeping the standard accessory set.

Smaller launch products are goal-specific. The Poster Collection includes Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres promos with three packs. Each Tech Sticker Collection has three packs and either an Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario promo with the matching stickers. The Pokémon ex Boxes contain four packs plus Sylveon ex or Greninja ex in playable and oversize versions. Both the Knock Out Collection and 2-Pack Blister use two packs, an Eevee card, and a coin, so check packaging and availability rather than assuming they are meaningfully different pack products.

How to use the product comparison and MSRP math

Start with what you want—packs, one promo, a binder, a display piece, a gift, accessories, or a playable deck—then compare the current retailer price with the contents.

Per-pack figures divide price by pack count and value every promo and accessory at zero. That favors the Booster Bundle on pack cost but says little about a binder, figure, stamped promo, or premium display.

Each UPC has 29 standard packs and one three-card Classic Collection pack. US$6.00 is the rough cost across 30 physical packs; counting only standard packs gives about US$6.21.

The US$59.99 Pokémon Center ETB price comes from its July 15 listing. Recheck the seller, taxes, shipping, and final price before buying.

How to read retailer prices and seller labels

A product page can show a valid item at a price that is not MSRP. Keep the evidence type attached to every number so a first-party list price, editorial MSRP report, marketplace ask, and completed sale never become interchangeable.

Which 30th Celebration product fits your goal

Pick by use, not hype. Set a budget, decide what you actually want, and compare the current price with the contents.

The Booster Bundle has the lowest reported pack cost. Battle Decks contain no boosters, and the UPC is a premium collector product rather than a pack-value play. If the reported December tins receive first-party confirmation, compare them with September ex Boxes before buying the same featured Pokémon twice.

Regular ETB versus Pokémon Center ETB

The Pokémon Center ETB adds two packs and a second Nidorina promo with the Pokémon Center logo. Pokémon has not announced different pull rates, so the choice comes down to those extras and the price.

Aftermarket asking prices are not MSRP. Compare the original list price, the current retailer price, and completed sales separately.

Pokémon Center’s August 25 support page estimates that the 30th Celebration Pokémon Center ETB will ship in mid-September in the US, Canada, and UK. The estimate can change and does not announce a restock or new preorder opening.

Day versus Night Ultra-Premium Collection

Both UPCs release November 6 with 29 standard packs, one three-card Classic Collection pack, Pikachu ex, a second Eeveelution promo, and themed accessories. Choose Day for Espeon or Night for Umbreon.

Pokémon confirms the Classic Collection pack inside each UPC but does not list it as a separate product.

Reported US MSRP is US$179.99. Check whether the retailer lets you select Day or Night; some listings may ship a random version.

What the latest official 30th Celebration card previews confirm

Pokémon’s August 18 and August 19 previews add first-party card detail without providing pull odds or a complete set checklist. They confirm a Pikachu card in every booster pack, 30 numbered Pikachu rare cards, two Pikachu ex special illustration rares, and preview cards for Lugia and Ho-Oh.

• The 30 Pikachu rare cards use unique Pikachu numbering and different illustrations, artists, and attacks.
• The two previewed Pikachu ex special illustration rares reinforce the set’s day-and-night theme.
• The Lugia preview shows Elemental Blast dealing 250 damage after discarding Energy.
• The Ho-Oh preview shows Sacred Breath healing a Benched Pokémon after discarding Ho-Oh’s Energy.
• Official previews establish card details, not pull rates, scarcity, future price, or guaranteed value.

Why 30th Celebration booster packs have five cards

Each booster has five foil expansion cards, including one of 30 Pikachu illustrations, plus a foil Basic Energy and a Pokémon TCG Live code card.

Pokémon has not given another reason for the format or published pull odds. The smaller pack is offset by the all-foil treatment and guaranteed Pikachu slot, so pack count alone does not establish better or worse value.

Pokémon Center preorder, queue, and checkout preparation

Pokémon Center estimates that the 30th Celebration Pokémon Center ETB will ship in mid-September in the US, Canada, and UK, subject to change. That is a shipping estimate—not a restock schedule or a new preorder-opening time. If a queue appears, keep the window open and do not refresh.

Preorders require a valid credit or debit card; gift cards, Apple Pay, and PayPal are not accepted. An initial authorization may disappear after five to seven business days, followed by a reauthorization three to five days before shipping.

High traffic or a sellout can cause checkout errors. Confirmation email may take up to 48 hours, and Pokémon Center cannot change a preorder address after placement.

• Queue: keep the window open; do not refresh or attempt workarounds.
• Browser: disable VPN, clear cookies and cache, and try a different browser, device, or connection if needed.

• Restocks: Pokémon Center has not confirmed whether or when 30th Celebration inventory will return.
